By engaging services with Clinically Speaking, you agree to the following terms.
1. Nature of Service
Clinically Speaking provides psychological services delivered by AHPRA registered psychologists.
The practice does not provide formal psychological assessments, medico legal reports, court reports, or compensation related documentation.
All services are delivered in accordance with the standards set by AHPRA and the Australian Psychological Society.
2. Payment
Fees are payable at the time of your appointment, prior to the session commencing, unless funded through a formally approved program arranged in advance.
If payment has not been received upon arrival, the session cannot proceed and will be treated as a late cancellation.
Outstanding balances must be finalised prior to booking further appointments.
3. Referrals
All referrals and intake submissions are reviewed prior to confirmation to ensure services are clinically appropriate and aligned with scope of practice.
4. Behaviour
Abusive, threatening, or aggressive behaviour toward clinicians or staff will not be tolerated and may result in discharge from the service.
5. Telecommunications
The practice uses phone, SMS, and email for administrative communication. These channels are not monitored continuously and must not be used for emergencies.
While reasonable steps are taken to protect privacy, electronic communications such as email and SMS may not be completely secure.
6. Crisis
Clinically Speaking is not a crisis service. In an emergency, contact 000 or Lifeline on 13 11 14.
These terms may be updated from time to time. The most current version will always be available on this website.
